Custom skins

X-MAN RC also produces custom skins. These are fully made to your specifications, so you decide the colours and/or print that will be made. The custom skins are also printed on high quality car wrapping foil, which is just as flexible and easy to apply as the regular skins. Prices for these skin range between €20 and €28,50 depending on quantity and the time that goes into designing your skin.

Here is a little F.A.Q. to answer some questions that you may have when it comes to customs skins, based on previous requests:

Can I supply my own image?

Yes you can, the image must be at least 1000x1000 pixels and have a good resolution. A regular photo from your phone will not do because it has to many irregularities. Usually computer generated images are the best.

 

Can my image be at an angle instead of being a top view?

For the best result, a top view of an image (so it looks 2D) is required. A slight angle won't be an issue though.

 

I have an image of my bodyshell (or other object), can you replicate that and make it into a skin?

No, I am sorry but I am not a graphic designer so unfortunately I do not have the skills to draw a skin directly from an image. However if you only want certain pieces replicated, your design is not too complicated and you can provide me with good images, I will see what I can do.

 

Can you make me a skin showing adult images/drugs?

No I am sorry but I don't want X-MAN RC to be associated with these images.

 

Can you make a shading effect that goes from light to dark?

Unfortunately a shading effect is not possible. There are too many angles and curves that go into a skin when it is applied, that it would never look nicely.

 

Can you make skins with a rimple effect?

Unfortunately this is not possible because of the sames reason as above.

 

Can you precisely place images on pieces of the skin? 

(For example, having anime characters perfectly placed on all pieces of a skin)

The answer is yes and no. For the regular price this is not possible. But let's say you really want it, I can print it with special guidelines so that it would be possible. An extra fee would be charged, for this you get precision with a tolerance of 2/3mm.
